Brighton adventures day two!

Brighton was so hard to leave, two days was definitely not long enough! After slowly but surely waking up from an amazing night in Brighton I was in desperate need of a big meal, we stubbled passed Bills which had an incredible menu. I tucked into a big chicken burger and chips, then slurped up a pint of cranberry juice, it was just what i needed!

After filling up our bellies we ventured into the lines for the second and last time of our trip, stopping off to get another hydrating drink and had a little bit of a chill time sitting on some deck deckchairs, as you can see in the pictures below I had a big laughing fit, my brother being the weird one in the family had me in stitches over something I can't even remember but obviously was hilarious from my extreme facial expression.

It was lovely to walk around and see all the amazing scenery, which influenced Lewis to do some rather unique poses. Then obviously having to finish off, being a true tourist, visiting the Brighton Pier! Well enough of me rambling on, go have a look at all the pictures down below of my second day in Brighton. x

Hope you liked having a little insight into my weekend in Brighton, please don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' and I'd love to know if you have been to Brighton or would like to visit, please leave all your comments down below!

Brighton adventures day one!

when I get the opportunity to go somewhere new I'm definitely going to make it a rule that I have to vlog and blog everything, starting with my 18th birthday trip to Brighton. Heres me and the brother on the train looking beautiful as ever!;) our first stop was to London Kings Cross which was nearly two hours long then from there to Brighton which was another hour, it fair to say I was extremely tired!

After two extremely tedious and tiring train journeys and taxi ride we finally made it to our hotel hurray! I wasn't in the best of moods to say the least, but it was all worth it just to see Brighton at its best. The sun was shining, my brother was singing and i was extremely hungry, so off we went on a hunt to find some good scrub to inhale after chucking our bags into the room.

At this point I was a very happy lady, this cute little Italian restaurant was calling our names! You can see I am a lot happier here then I was on the train. I'm the sort of girl who needs to be fed on a regular bases or I morphed into a grumpy old moaning lady. I apologise that i didn't take a picture of the food, we all literally inhaled it! (we all had a salad and chicken pizza by the way)

Then after when our bellies were full right up we adventured into The Lanes, oh how I could walk about Brighton forever and not get bored. Everywhere you turn theres a new little cute shop to wonder round, I felt like a little kid again exploring down all the little alley ways and streets, getting excited and giddy over quirky home wear shops and vintage shops.

We stopped at the famous Choccywoccydoodah shop, it was so busy we decided just to admirer it from the outside. Their cakes are just incredible, the detail and time that is put into one is just overwhelming! Hats off to the very talented staff there!

we couldn't not resist checking out the night life in Brighton, heres me and my brother all dressed up ready to go out with our big birthday baggages on. It was an incredible night and we promised to each other that we had to come again in the near future. Again I don't know what my brother is doing...aha!

Brighton is such an incredible city and I can not wait to go again, please don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin', Brighton adventures day two and the vlogs will be coming out very soon!

The Allertons Bloggers Event!

Allertons is a new beauty salon that opened in The Light at Leeds city centre only four months ago, I was lucky enough to receive a tweet from them inviting me to their bloggers event on Tuesday the 7th of October. With the lovely welcoming staff and being pampered with their gorgeous products you could say I was in my version of heaven.

dealing with stretch marks

I have been going back and forth about publishing this post but even if it helps one person then thats good enough for me, no ones person and we all have our imperfections, even celebrities!

*Image from Tumblr*

Unfortunately puberty for me was very quick, I had an extremely quick growth spurt. Under then a year everything developed on my body all at once, which didn't have the best effect on my body. From the height of five foot to nearly six, an A cup to an E and a size 4/6 to a size 10/12. Its crazy how your body goes through so many changes, I don't mind my stretch marks, but I always like to moisturise to try and prevent anymore and improve their appearance. Also a great purchase that I would recommend is bio-oil, I have seriously noticed an improvement. its silky texture just glides onto your skin and feels so hydrating. its a product I've been using for years now and I don't think i will stop any time soon.
I try not to compare myself to anyone else as theres no point, I am me and will always be in this body, I'm never going to change. we're all beautiful. Our imperfections are just apart of us so embrace it.

I do hope this post helped you, please drop your comments down below which would mean so much to me! Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin'!

swing dress and black ankle boots

I've been thinking about the future, I'm turning 18 on the 19th of september, how old do I look? my brothers think I'm 12 still. Its crazy how one minute you're playing kiss catch in the playground, then the next you're planning what your next step is in life, pretty daunting if you ask me, I still haven't got a clue what I would like to be, is that bad? Anything to do with beauty or fashion would be perfect, but what would that entail exactly? I'm not too sure yet but I guess thats the exciting thing about life, you never know, right?

This dress makes be feel bit more near 18 years old, think this is the only thing thats patterned in my wardrobe. The fabric is so comfy and fitted, didn't want to make it look crazily formal so I opted for some cute black ankle boots to put a teenage spin on it. then a tattooed choker to make it abit edgy. Primark, with this dress you have done me proud!

Dress - Primark
Ankle boots - Gift

I would you dress down an outfit? Have you been surprised by Primark too recently?

Benefit Primer Battle | REVIEW

Its only been a year since I've started to use primers under my make up, I've tried so many and nothing seemed to work until I was so fed up. Luckily I decided to stroll into Debenhams, at this point I just wanted advise and answers as my skin refused to keep any sort of product on for no longer then about two hours, if that.

#3rd festival outfit

As I am a summer baby when the season shows its head my legs are out, even though I'm not a big fan of my legs, from all the left over scaring that my eczema has so kindly left me, its quite a challenge to actually leave the house with them on display, but I've covered them up so here I am, legs out, waist out, feeling like a right dare devil today aha.

I am obsessed with these shorts, if you read my blog often you will know I am a big lover of anything high waisted and with this quirky animal print its a great match with a pain black croptop which keeps your attention on the statement shorts.

I am trying so very hard to keep any heat off my hair and it seems to have grown quicker in my excitng! What do you think?

*outfit details are down below*

Well thats it for this years festival attires. I do hope you have enjoyed them, please don't hesitate to drop your comments in the down bar and don't forget to follow me my Bloglovin! Thank you.

#2nd festival outfit

It excites me to be able to pull different outfits together for a festival, but every outfit being totally different of course. As I normally wear the same thing most days (formal wear) it nice to feel festiv, with this flower pattern playsuit from Topshop you'll never hesitate to jump as high as you can in a crowd again, as your bottom will be firmly covered up, or that awkward gust of wing, no revealing of knickers. This is why I love playsuits because they are so comfy and practical too. And again with my trust worthy Hunter wellingtons its perfect to trek through deep mud to get to your favourite band/artist. then a simple black belt to tie it together.

I'm one of them girls where they have to have their hair out of their faces at all times. Its no good getting whipped by your own hair every so often and when I'm a lover of lip gossip its like a magnet to hair...hairy lips, not a good look!

Please don't hesitate to comment away on what your festival looks are, as I'd love to know! Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin! Thank you.

#1st Festival Outfit

Its coming round to the best time of year 'FESTIVAL SEASON', when everyone is in their squelching wellingtons, splattered in mud and not having one care in the world, a place where anything goes,  from having onsies as your attire or covered from head to toe in rave paint, its a chance to go crazy and not get judged, its a must to sing as loud as your lungs can take it and dancing like you're drank one thousand red bulls.

Crop tops and ripped shorts are a perfect way to keep cool when fighting through the mass of people, with my hunter Wellingtons my feet are going to be nice and cosy.
I choice a bright lip, giving the outfit a burst of colour it needs.

TIP: Always wear knee high socks with wellingtons when having bare legs as their will rub you and they are not afraid to cut through your skin I can promise you that! *learnt through experience*
(outfit details listed below)

I'd love to see your festival attires?!? Please comment below what you're planning to wear at a festival you're going to or any event thats coming up! don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin! Thank you.
